Quinton and his brother were abandoned by their owners at a boarding facility in Central Texas. 

 

Quinton is a sweet, soft-hearted boy who thrives on human connection. He is affectionate and always seeks physical closeness, leaning into his humans, curling up for cuddles, and following them from room to room. He is:

• Cautious but Curious – Quinton is a thinker! He takes his time in new environments but quickly

• adjusts and embraces new experiences.

• Has A Nose for Adventure – He is ready and willing to go anywhere and do anything with his

• humans.

• Unaffected by Loud Noises – Unlike many Border Collies, Quinton is pretty indifferent about

• thunderstorms, fireworks, gunshots, and other loud noises.

• Not Afraid to Make Friends – Once comfortable, he is social and engaging, happy to meet new

• people and dogs.

• Independent Yet Loyal – He enjoys spending time near his people but is also content to

• entertain himself with toys, bones, or relaxing independently in the yard.

Quinton is still a puppy so he has certain puppy tendencies and energy level. However, he is well adjusted, leash trained, crate trained, housebroken/dog door trained, and rides very well in a car. With an active family that understands how to balance physical and mental engagement and will continue to invest in positive training with him, Quinton is and will continue to develop into a confident, affectionate, fun-loving companion that will bring loves of love and laughter with his goofy personality!
