Special Treasures

These dogs are our special needs dogs. They are either Seniors  (over 8 years old) or have known medical conditions (i.e. missing a limb or suffer a condition requiring lifetime medication) or have issues that require atypical training and handling. These are the real gems of rescue, our special treasures, and in many cases, they give back so much more than they receive. Click on the Photo for more information on the dog. They can be adopted for a donation to All Border Collie Rescue. To apply for a dog, please click on the following link:

These dogs are currently being fostered by independent rescuers who are friends of ABCR. They are ready for adoption by their forever families. All Border Collie Rescue is posting them on our website to help them find their forever homes. If you are interested in any of these dogs you must contact the indvidual foster for that dog. You should be diligent when discussing the dog with the foster and should consider the dog’s prior history, health, activity level, training, personality, etc. The individual foster takes full responsibility for the dog and will determine the adoption process and fees required. Click on the Photo for more information on the dog.
