Milo may not be a border collie, but when a former ABCR adopter reached out for us to help this sweet shepherd/cattle dog (?) mix boy, we couldn't say no!
Milo was an abandoned stray wandering a Houston neighborhood before being taken in by our alum and he has been adding sunshine, love and fun to the household ever since!
Milo is wonderfully affectionate and makes friends very quickly. Equally friendly with dogs and humans, he’s eager to please, responds very well to verbal training (LOVES being told that he’s been a good boy), and is incredibly food motivated. Currently his favorite activity is running around in the yard with his foster family and getting plenty of tummy rubs! Milo is very well house trained and directs his attention well to his chew toys and is well behaved when left home outside of his crate. He walks nicely on a leash and is good in a car and would make a great walking, hiking or running companion that also settles down nicely during the work day.
