Lakona was surrendered to our partner vet to be euthanized after he suffered a medical issue and they could not afford his care. After surgery to remove a cloth foreign body that was anchored in his stomach and extended into his intestines, and subsequent fluid removal from his belly, he’s now on the mend and with a foster in the Austin area.

 

Lakona is a very friendly and gentle boy that warms up to people very easily and loves belly rubs. He is affectionate and loves all the dogs that he meets. He can be a bit overstimulated/over-interested in household cats, but made a lot of good progress living with them nicely. ​
