Rosie was rescued (along with her sister Luna) from a high-kill, overcrowded shelter in the Dallas area, after they were relinquished along with two other dogs by the same family, who didn't want to move with their four dogs. Rosie is a complete sweetheart, has great house manners, walks well on a leash (although wants to chase the wayward squirrel), wants nothing more than love and praise and is very playful with her foster dog brother, but it is evident that she had not been nicely treated by her previous owners. Rosie's foster family is working very patiently to help Rosie learn that people can be kind and loving to her so that she can become the confident pup we know she can be. So far, Rosie is adjusting to being in a loving home very well and has been showing her foster family her sweet and goofy side more and more!
