Luna was rescued (along with her sister Rosie) from a high-kill, overcrowded shelter in the Dallas area, after they were relinquished along with two other dogs by the same family, who didn't want to move with their four dogs. Luna and her sister weren't treated very nicely by their former owners, so she came to us very timid and afraid, but has been sweet and eager to please from day 1. Even though she has only been in a foster home for a week, Luna has adapted quickly to being a pampered house pup and has become much more outgoing and confident - she loves her foster dad and foster dog siblings and is always up to play, whether it is with toys or a joining a good game of tag with the two other resident pups! She walks very well on a leash. Many have commented that she has a very calm and gentle temperament. She gets along with all dogs and cats.
