Cari joined ABCR from a rural shelter in the Rio Grande Valley, after she was found as a stray
Cari is a happy, outgoing, well adjusted pup who thrives on routine! She LOVES to play with toys and to bounce around the backyard after lizards and squirrels. She loves belly rubs and laying splayed out on the tile as well as a good snooze on the couch. She is currently being fostered with 3 young children and is very good with them - she does not take food or toys out of their hands and when they cry or are caterwauling, she goes to investigate. Cari loves her balls and enjoys settling down with a good bully stick. She can be a bit of a puller on a leash so would not recommend that anyone but an adult holds her leash. Cari's current training point is that she can be very excited when the door opens and is a bit of a door dasher. She is crate trained and seems to be housebroken.
