Hudson

Age: 1-2 Years Sex: Male Coat: Rough Coat, black and white Weight: 46 Activity Level: Active Companion This Profile Last Updated: 5-9-2012 Hudson, or Huddy as his foster mom calls him, is a gorgeous bc boy, who could possibly be mixed. He is a little shorter and stockier than most bc’s, but has the smarts of a great border. Hudson loves all the bc’s in his foster home, except one that came in as un-neutered. So, Hudson would do best with submissive females, or more submissive neutered males. Hudson loves to play ball and his favorite past time is attacking the water coming out of the water hose. A fun BC game! He also loves play “volleyball” with an inflatable ball that he’ll hit with his nose and send flying back to you. Hudson, because of being a “high white” border collie, had a congenital eye disease that caused him to lose his sight for a period of about a week. But, with the treatment of a specialist, his sight is now back at almost 100%. They cannot say for sure if this will re-occur, but the likelihood is low. He is still on some maintenance eye drops to be sure the problem doesn’t come back, but he is being weaned from those slowly. Hudson is a bit too herdy for kitties. He likes a good game of “chase the kitty”, so a home without cats would be better for him. He is crate-trained, and crates very easily, and is house-broken as well. Huds would do well with children in their teens, and loves to learn tricks. Hudson would make a good companion dog for a family that wants a more laid back guy. He is good if just exercised a short time every day. He has not done a lot of leash walking, but most likely would love a family that will walk him regularly. Hudson is fully vetted, chipped, neutered, and just about ready for his forever family. If you would like some Hudson kisses, please apply for him at ABC. A home visit will be done and an adoption donation of $200 will be asked. Please offer this adorable guy his forever home!! |
